Ok, so i've been here now for a fortnight and it's amazing. For those of you who have no idea who/where i am, i'm on my year abroad in Cameroon for 5 months as part of a year abroad (3rd year French and German)
I'm working with SIL, teaching MKs and will be home schooling some next month for three months.
Have just started the second week of work and it's such a good experience, i'm working with Americans, Canadians, Australians, Swiss, a Scot, and quite a few Dutch amongst many Cameroonians obviously (hopefully will not return home with more of an American accent than French knowledge! They all rock though and plus we're all part of God's amazing kingdom!) Have been studying rocks and minerals as a 3rd/4th grade class (I'm teaching some science, all math(s) and some research on Ancient Greece.) and it's so exciting seeing how all the rocks just blatantly have been put together as one big plan!
Well 2 more weeks of that to go, then i'll be heading up north for three months. It's going to be H.O.T there so trying to psyche myself up! Should be fun though, the village people (haha) live such a different way of life to anything i've ever seen, really exciting! Their fruit is lush too, not eating any when i get back home! :) (hehe, pineapples are growing literally at the bottom of our garden along with plantain, bananas and nuts)
So yeah! There you have it!

Aw hey guys! Mei and Jen thankyoun both so much for your comments, its made my day! Will keep you both posted as to developments as they go on...much loving for now. Gotta go prep a math(s) lesson for tomorrow. Up at 6am so prob best to hit the hay soon too!
