Just wanted to let you into a wild secret in the life of Katharine. I've learnt two new scottish words...could be seen as unacceptable comments, particularly as i'm supposed to be learning French not Scottish but oh well...
The first word is 'Bogging' which apparently is the equivalent of minging or disgusting. Quite exciting really
The second could be seen as a bit dodge, but i can assure you that it is completely harmless! It is Craic, which means fun. There are some contexts that it may be used in such as 'it was good craic' but you can't, for some unknown reason, say 'having good craic'. Can't see why not...you scots are ingenious!
Apart from that life is good craic, school is fun, great experiences, even better God right by my side all day! Kids rock, teachers are lovely too. Its well into the second week, its only three weeks so that means that theres only a week and a bit to go. Quite sad really, teaching these guys is such a pleasure, most of the time! :)
Then spending a bit longer here in Yaoundé before heading up north with my 'family'. Its a three and a bit day drive so please pray for safety but above all that we would glorify God in whatever way he has planned. Theyre pretty rough roads but the scenery is apparently amazing, very diverse, so much looking forward to that.
Life is so blessed, "Give thanks to the Lord our God and King, his love endures for ever"!
Praise Him

oh my goodness, this is hilarious because
a) after calling me a geek repeatedly since our arrival in Cameroon you have now blogged EVERY day
and
b)after mocking my accent/dialect you've blogged about it!
And
c) I'm sitting across from you and still am posting on your blog. Oh well, just for the craic, eh!
