It's not about Kat!

A bit about me...but it's not about me...if you get my drift...

Purely pictoral post...possibly! Feast you eyes!

Woohoo, at last I've battled the computer and have managed finally to at least make it look like I'm having fun and don't want to come home!

These are in no particular order.

This is Caleb and Kate in a raft near a river near our house in the village, the river only lasts for about a fortnight after rainy season stops so this was a great opportunity to use the raft!

This is my class from the August FES session, no we weren't about to go out and conquer Yaoundé although that would have made a good photo, no, we studied the Greeks as our history topic. One girl in the grade above dressed up as a greek salad, v funny!

This is a picture of the bible club we did at our house in the village. The kiddos came round to play with C,P and K anyway so was very easy to get them to stay. None of them go to school or know how to read or write so this is purely oral...went very well and praise God at least a few of the kids have put their trust in Him.

This is mostly the same bunch give or take a few who take part in the home grown literacy class which Alan does. So cool to see them start to understand scribblings in their own language.

"I found some poop!" Top quality dung only means one thing, or maybe two, 1. smelly hands but more importantly...

ELEPHANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

This one if just for your viewing pleasure, this photo doesnt really do them justice but they were absolutely AWESOME, in the wild, not going crazy but completely naturnal as they should...guide didnt have a gun or anything, just a small penknife, glad we would have been safe had the 'phants decided to charge!lol
And finally...

...me and the family on our penultimate day together. Aren't they such a cute bunch?! L to R, Caleb, me, Peter, DeEtte, Kate and Alan in front of their house.
On reflection this was such a blessed and happy, even joyful, 2 months and a situation in which I'd love to find myself again!
Praise Jesus
